Samuel Tam, Chief Executive Officer
Sam Tam has served as CEO of Vicom Systems since its inception in 1996, and led the development of a profitable OEM-based business and subsequent $30M venture investment in 2001. Prior to Vicom, Sam held executive engineering positions at Unisys and Convergent Technologies.

Sam earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley, and graduated from the Executive Management Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Horatio Lo, Vice President Systems & Professional Services
Horatio Lo is responsible for design and development of the Vicom appliance platform and management of professional services and support. He has served as the senior engineering executive for Vicom since 1996. Previously, he held senior engineering management positions at Conner Peripherals/Seagate, Exabyte, and Wangtek.

Horatio earned a M.S. in Computer Engineer at the University of Missouri and B.S. in Mathematics from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.

Mark Egerton, Vice President Sales & Partner Management
Mark Egerton is responsible for worldwide channel and business development at Vicom. Prior to joining Vicom, he served as vice president of sales at Ciprico, a RAID storage manufacturer. He has held executive sales responsibilities at both startup and public companies including Siliconstor, 3Ware/AMCC, and Adaptec.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration at Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec .
